| it has been very crazy around here. here are a few pictures of the flood. i did not take them. they are from the news center. my parents duplex that james and i lived in for the first two years we were married is gone. flooded beyond belief. i will send more photos out. please pray for so many families. we are all good. can't use water, therefore we cant shower. the lynn family and mcmanus family went to shannons grandmas tonight to shower since it had been a few days. they have well water so it was legal to use.
it is unreal here. so so bad.

this is downtown. all the water is where we were driving just 2 days ago. this is not a lake...those are roads.
this is quaker oats. the bridge to the back left is now gone and house boats have floated to it. they put a train on it to try and save it before it all happened, and now the train is in water.
There are so many families with no homes. please pray. we have a long road ahead of us.

| I love so much in my life right now... I love my husband, my son, my parents, my mother in law, siblings, my best friend shannon, my dog maximus, my nephew Kaleb who will be arriving from Guatemala in just a few months... and so much more So... We put our house on the market last Tueday and it sold on Saturday. We were not expecting that in any way! We are going to be out by the first of March. I have been very busy packing away! Some exciting news... We are moving in with the McManus's for a bit. We are all really excited! This will be Shannon and I's first time actually living together. A dream come true! :) We said today that instead of calling eachother in the morning we will get to chat each morning as we get stuff done all at the same time! James and I are not fully sure our next step. We are pretty sure we will build again. We just have a lot of details to pull together. We will see. I feel at peace. Not worried a bit. Austin is doing great! Crawling everywhere! He is into everything! So much fun right now though. I will post pictures soon. *C | | |
| So I am going to include Austins 5 month pictures. Things are going fantastic here in Iowa. Austin is growing so much. James is officially done with his bachelors and working full time again. I am a full time mom, as well as working for my parents two days a week. Ok, here they are... Leave some comments, I love to hear from all of you! *C

This was after we returned from California. Austin had a bad cold and was not having the best day. All I can say is when baby is sad... mamas sad! I am sure he is going to love this when he gets older. 
Austin was the man here. No joke, he totally leaned over and grabbed his cousins hand. He is one month younger than her. They are so cute huh? 
This was Austin in the plane. He was amazing. He did so well. We are so blessed with a good baby! Hey Everyone! So we just got back from California a week ago. James uncle passeed away, so we went to the funeral. It was sad, yet a wonderful time to see all the family. Everyone loved Austin. He did amazing on the plane. I put a few recent pictures for all to see. Hope all is well with everyone. Life has been a bit busy around here. I have been fighting something off. I am not sure what it is. | It has been a fun few weeks around here. James and I are having a lot of fun getting to know our little man more and more. Over the past few weeks James has started up school again. He is taking 21 credits. WOW! He is amazing. Because he is taking so many credits, he will be graduating in December and not May. We are really excited about this! I also have begun working for my parents in the office of their business. My job is to help them get more organized to allow the business to run more effectively. Austin is able to come to work with me. I am only working two days a week, so it has been very nice. It is nice to get out of the house a bit! Here are some of my favorites over the past few weeks... Snoozing in mamas arms!
